    Zermatt – January 22-30, 2027

Join Us for an Unforgettable Ski Adventure in Zermatt!

    $4,990.00 per person

SOLD OUT - PLEASE JOIN THE WAITLIST! (As of April 14 there is no waitlist.)

Ready to elevate your ski season? In January, the New Hampshire Ski Club is heading to Zermatt, Switzerland—one of the most iconic skiing destinations in the world. With breathtaking views of the Matterhorn, world-class terrain, and a charming car-free village, this is more than a ski trip—it’s a bucket-list experience.

    Why Zermatt?
Late January is one of the best times to visit. You can expect:

    • ·Excellent snow conditions: Zermatt’s high altitude (with skiing up to nearly 13,000 ft) means reliable, well-covered runs.
    • A wide variety of terrain: Over 200 miles of groomed runs, including long cruisers, challenging descents, and even the option to ski into Italy for the day.
    • A beautiful, European feel without congested lift lines: This is the week before peak season begins, so you’ll get quick access to lifts, less-crowded slopes, and village life without vacation congestion.
    • Glitz, high-end chalets, and Michelin-rated dining. Zermatt is known for being one of the most expensive ski resorts in the world. Join us for a taste of luxurious international skiing splendor.

    Who Should Join?
This trip is best suited for
confident intermediate to advanced skiers. Zermatt is expansive, and to make the most of it, you should:

    • Be comfortable on long, groomed blue and black cruiser runs with variable conditions. Most trails in Zermatt are red (running between blue and black). Motivated beginners are welcome, too—just plan for lessons and some independent skiing time as you build confidence.
    • Be prepared to hire a guide for off-piste or backcountry skiing if conditions permit, due to rocky terrain and hazards.
    • Enjoy exploring a very large resort at high altitude. We’ll be sleeping at 5,300 ft, and skiing at 10-12,000 ft on the highest elevation slopes.

    Beyond the Slopes
Zermatt isn’t just about skiing with incredible scenery—it’s a full alpine experience:

    • Dining: From cozy mountain huts serving fondue to international cuisine, there’s something for every taste. Expect memorable lunches with panoramic views and vibrant evening dining at our hotel and in the village. You’ll be able to enjoy half the evenings exploring on your own and the other half dining with our group at an assortment of fine restaurants.
    • Après-ski: Relax slopeside with a drink, enjoy live music, or unwind with friends after a day on the mountain.
    • Non-ski activities:

o   Scenic train rides (like the famous Glacier Express)

o   Winter hiking and snowshoeing trails

    o   Spa and wellness experiences

    o   Ice skating

    o   Sledding

    o   Snow cave touring

o   Shopping in the picturesque, car-free village

Whether you’re skiing every run or mixing in relaxation and exploration, there’s plenty to enjoy. We offer a welcoming group atmosphere—perfect for making new connections.

    What’s included:

    • NONSTOP flights Boston-Zurich, departing Friday night, Jan. 22 at 9:50 p.m. and returning to Boston on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 8:30 p.m. (Schedule subject to change.) Includes one checked bag, a carry on, and a personal item. Fees for a second bag will be provided as we get closer.
    • Airport transfers (approx. 4 hours from Zurich.)

    • Two days of guided skiing—one half day in Switzerland, and one full day all the way into Italy and back from lift opening to close. (Carry your passport when you ski!)
