Ski the Dolomites + Taste of Venice, Italy - 2024 TRIP 2

• The Dolomites is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Southern Tyrol area of the Northern Italian Alps. The mountain scenery is breathtaking. The vast connected Dolomites ski resort with the famous Sella Ronda is served by more than 200 lifts, trams, and gondolas. Val Gardena, located in the heart of the Dolomites, is known for its supreme snowmaking and groomed-to-perfection slopes to smooth out any fluctuations in natural snowfall. We’ll be based in the city of Selva Di Val Gardena, the perfect central location to access all the resorts around the Sella Ronda. The Tyrolian culture is endearing, the architecture and landscape are beautiful, and the regional wine offerings are plentiful.

  What may set this apart from other ski trips is the food. You’ll be treated to delicious, voluminous Southern Tyrolian breakfasts and dinners with an Austrian influence and a hint of Italy. Huts on the mountains offer incredible lunches in intimate settings. Wine lovers will love the locally sourced selections. Apres ski is a blast. There’s shopping and night life, too. Ski shops are within walking distance for rentals and repairs.

  We’ll be staying at Hotel Antares with lots of amenities, including indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, gym, and more with a great location downtown just a short walk to/from the lift.

  In Venice we’ll be staying at Hotel Santa Ciara at the center of Venice’s transportation hub, right on the canal.

   For this trip the NH Ski Club offers:

• • Double occupancy only. No single rooms available at Hotel Antares.
  • Lift tickets not included. Participants will need to purchase Ikon Pass or Dolomites SuperSki pass.
  • Flights from Boston to Innsbruck, then Venice to Boston.
  • Shuttle to/from Selva di Val Gardena.
  • 2-day water bus pass in Venice.
  • ½ day walking or boat tour in Venice (optional, additional fee).
  • Full day in Venice free for touring or optional side trip to Verona (mini-Rome) via train.

• • Buffet breakfast.
  • Warm soup from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Dinner with a varied menu of entrees, appetizer and salad buffet.
  • Every week a traditional Southern Tyrolean dinner.

• • Full breakfast.

Cost: Full trip: $3,075.00 pp/do. For those skipping Venice, return March 2: $2,575.00 pp/do. Flights on British Airways.

• IMPORTANT SIGN-UP INFORMATION:

• If no roommate name is indicated, Trip Leader will assign roommates based on gender and trip choice. We recommend using the NHSC Facebook Group to identify roommates prior to registration. 
• All rooms are double occupancy. Hotel Antares does not offer single occupancy rooms.
• No seat upgrades will be available for air travel. You will be assigned seats by the airline. Preferences cannot be accommodated.
• Read the NH Ski Club Cancellation policy. If you need to cancel after the grace period, we will do our best to help you find a substitute from the waiting list. We highly encourage trip insurance (this is a list of options) as we cannot guarantee a refund, and you will be responsible for all name change fees in the event of a substitution.

COSTS:

Full 9-day trip cost per person, double occupancy: $3,075.00 with airfare.

Shorter 7-day trip (no Venice) per person, double occupancy: $2,575.00 with airfare.

$750 per person deposit due with registration form.   

Balance due November 1, 2023.
