Get in your early season runs while enjoying the quintessentially quaint Vermont winter wonderland to get you in the mood for the holidays! Stowe gets more snow by December than anywhere in NH--historically 41” base at the summit and average base of 21”.
Plus, the shopping in Stowe is AWESOME for snagging those last-minute gifts and stocking stuffers. This trip is for skiers AND non-skiers. There’s plenty of hiking, snowshoeing, XC skiing, biking, and spas nearby, too!
This self-drive getaway with snow-loving friends, no crowds, free parking at the mountain on Thursday, free shuttle on Friday, offers a low-cost way to ski and stay in Stowe to kick off your winter season.
TRIP PRICE: $139 pp double occupancy. $205 single occupancy.

We’ll be staying at the pet-friendly Stowe Motel with a great location in the heart of Stowe, a 2-minute walk from the Darkside shuttle stop.
Includes:
- 1 night lodging at the Stowe Motel (Thursday, December 15) with 1 or 2 queen beds
- Meet & Greet reception at American Flatbread including pizza and salad on Thursday evening.
- Breakfast at Stowe Bee Bakery on Friday morning.
- $139pp double occupancy (lodging, reception, breakfast)
- $205pp single occupancy (lodging, reception, breakfast) (Two rooms available, first come, first served.)
- $35pp for reception only.
- Lift tickets not included. Epic One-Day Pass will run $75-90 depending on date of purchase and how many days of skiing you buy. We’ll establish an on-mountain meeting spot for lunch both days.
Payment in full due by Monday, November 21.

Note: NH Ski Club will cancel this trip if we do not have enough participants as of November 21. Your payment will be returned or voided. We also reserve the right to substitute lodging based on prices and availability at the time of booking. Payments are non-refundable after lodging is secured end of day November 21. In the event you cannot participate at the last minute, you are welcome to find a replacement. Please advise the trip leader of any substitutions.
