You do not need to be a member to attend this Ski Day, but why not become one and meet other NH Ski Club skiers and boarders?
Loon Mountain has offered us a day of skiing on Feb 9, 2019. The cost of this event is only $61.00 which includes a $14 food Voucher. This day trip is $112 value, so a $51 savings is an awesome deal. You will be able to pick up your tickets from me in the Governor’s Lodge which is located in the resort’s West Basin between 7:45 and 8:45.
Loon is a fun mountain with a variety of trails for all skiers. The primary surface is packed powder and secondary surface is packed powder, except for days when the freshies fall or they make snow, and believe me, they’re making snow to keep Loon great for the upcoming schools’ vacation weeks.
Mountain Facts: Snow Making 99% of trails. Number of Trails: 61. Tree Skiing Areas: 8. Expert Trails: 20%. Intermediate Trails: 60%. Novice Trails: 20%. Total Miles of Trails 28 mi. Longest Trail: Bear Claw: 2.5 mi. Wow!
Loon has four different places to meetup with your friends during the day. They are the Summit Café, Camp III deck, Paul Bunyan Room, and Babe’s Blue Ox Lounge. At the end of the day we traditionally meet up at Babe’s Blue Ox Lounge upstairs in the Governor’s Lodge, where you can mingle with your friends and enjoy your favorite beverages and appetizer. Come for the skiing, come for the beverages, come to meet new people and make new friends. You can do it all with the NH Ski Club at Loon!
Make Checks Payable to the NH Ski Club and Send to Ron Pinkham, 76 West Merrimack St., Manchester, NH 0310. If you have any questions you can contact me through email or texts. Email Ron.Pinkham@comcast.net Mobile 603-682-4560.
If you plan on attending this event please sign up on the Meetup site. Can you sign up last minute? Absolutely, but be there by 8:45 with check in hand to get your lift ticket and lunch voucher from me. I want to ski too :)
See you at Loon!
